Habeeb Adisa is a dynamic media and research professional with a background in journalism, strategic communication, and fact-checking. He currently serves as the Head of Programmes, Co-Editor at FactCheckAfrica. With a B.A. in History from the University of Ibadan and a Global History Certificate from Princeton University, he has cultivated a unique research perspective at the intersection of digital media and African socio-political history.

His publications include studies on the #EndSARS protests and the impact of misinformation on children in Nigeria, reflecting a deep commitment to data-driven storytelling and evidence-based policy advocacy. He has represented FactCheckAfrica on global platforms, including the prestigious Africa Facts Summit, where he has shared insights on digital misinformation and the future of AI in media.

Mustapha Lawal is a dedicated researcher, fact-checker, and youth development advocate with a passion for leveraging media, education, and technology to combat misinformation and empower communities. His journey into journalism began during his active involvement with the Union of Campus Journalists (UCJ) Unilorin, where he honed his storytelling and advocacy skills.

As a fact-checker and program researcher at FactCheckAfrica, Mustapha is committed to promoting truth, accountability, and democratic values. He combines his academic and research background with a deep interest in civic engagement to combat misinformation and hold institutions and public figures to account. His work focuses on empowering communities with accurate information and fostering a culture of critical thinking to resist the spread of fake news in Nigeria.

Lukman Adeoti is a digital entrepreneur, project manager, and tech ecosystem builder. Passionate about youth upskilling and grassroots community empowerment, he bridges the gap between technical innovation and sustainable development across Nigeria.

As a prominent community leader, Lukman serves as the Osun State Programs Manager for the 3 Million Technical Talents (3MTT) initiative and the Osun State Liaison Officer for the iDICE BPO Programme. He actively drives technical competence as a Co-organizer for Google Developer Group (GDG) Osogbo, alongside his foundational leadership at Adeoti LLC and the Hardest to Reach Initiative (HRi).

Sunday Taiwo is a versatile media and development professional with over five years of cross-sectoral experience in using digital communication and civic innovation to accelerate social impact across Nigeria, Africa and beyond.

He’s currently the Communications Lead at FactCheckAfrica and has worked with leading civic-tech organizations including the Paradigm Leadership Support Initiative (PLSI) and Global Activists Network (GAN), delivering high-impact communication strategies, managing stakeholder partnerships, and leading grassroots project activation.

Abdulraheem Muhammed Olarewaju is a researcher, fact-checker, virtual assistant, and advocate for community development, climate action, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and youth empowerment. His journey began with campus journalism at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS), where he actively participated in the National Association of Campus Journalists (NACJ). He rose through the ranks to become Editor-in-Chief of the Vanguard Press Board, one of the leading press outfits on campus.

Abdulraheem is a Global Youth Mobilization (GYM) Grantee supported by the European Union and has volunteered with several organizations across Nigeria to advance civic responsibility and climate awareness.

Oluwatoyin Hawal Momolosho is a Nigerian journalist, fact-checker and creative writer with a strong interest in investigative journalism, public-interest reporting, and accountability. He has published across several media platforms and currently works as an intern with FactCheck Africa, where he researches, verifies and reports on claims and misinformation affecting the public. His work reflects a commitment to accuracy, credible storytelling and journalism that informs, holds power accountable and serves society.

Abayomi Abdulwaliyy Jolayemi is a Nigerian researcher, fact-checker, educator, digital literacy advocate, and entrepreneur committed to using research and technology to promote informed and resilient communities. He holds a B.Sc. Ed. in Social Studies and Human Environmental Relations from the University of Ilorin and an M.Ed. in Social Studies from the University of Ibadan, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Information Technology and certification with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN).

Abayomi brings experience in fact-checking, digital content quality evaluation, and artificial intelligence assessment. He has worked as a fact-check quality rater and AI quality evaluator, reviewing digital content and AI-generated outputs for accuracy, relevance, quality, and compliance with established standards.

Eniola Amadu is a graduating student of Mass Communication at Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko(AAUA). As a young, emerging journalist, his journey into journalism began when he joined the Nigerian Union of Campus Journalists, AAUA Chapter, where he developed a growing interest in information integrity, accountability reporting, and multimedia storytelling. He currently interns with FactCheckAfrica as a fact-check reporter, gaining hands-on experience and developing his skills in fact-checking and verification while actively contributing to efforts to combat information disorder and promote accurate, credible information.

Sonaike Peter is a graduate of Education and Political Science,University of Ibadan. His journalism began in 2023 when he joined IndyPress, a foremost local press organization at the University of Ibadan. 

As the former Editor-in-Chief of the Organization, he upheld the editorial standard, publishing stories that raised critical subjects and impacted the student community.  Peter currently works with FactCheck Africa as an intern, where he is committed to verifying and debunking viral false claims rooted in misinformation and disinformation.

Abdullateef Sebiotimo is a student leader, journalist, and passionate advocate for leadership development at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS).
He currently serves as the President of the National Association of Campus Journalists, Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (NACJ-UDUS). His journalistic work has been published on notable national media platforms, including The Liberalist, FactCheckAfrica, Ripples Nigeria, and others.

Abdullateef previously served as News Editor of Gamji Press before rising to the position of Editor-in-Chief of the press board and later becoming Principal Editor of NACJ-UDUS. In these roles, he has trained numerous campus journalists, strengthened newsroom practices, and championed high editorial standards in campus journalism.

Oluwaseye Ogunsanya is a communications professional, researcher, award-winning fact-checker, public policy enthusiast and advocate for good governance. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication and a Master’s degree in Communication Studies from Lagos State University.

His interests and work span political communication, digital media, misinformation, information integrity, public policy and governance. With a strong understanding of Nigeria’s political and media landscape, Oluwaseye uses research, fact-checking and communication to examine public claims, challenge misinformation and promote accountability.
He has contributed to public-interest fact-checking and media literacy initiatives, including projects exploring the use of technology and artificial intelligence in information verification. He is passionate about credible information, responsible communication and building a more informed society.

Aminat Olaitan Miskilu is a Multimedia Journalist, Investigative Reporter, Presenter, creative producer, Fact-Checker, and Media Researcher passionate about truth-driven storytelling, gender advocacy, health reporting, and digital media innovation.

With experience spanning television, radio, print, multimedia production, and fact-checking, Aminat has contributed to impactful journalism projects across leading media platforms including TVC Communications, RadioNow 95.3FM, Fact-Check Africa, DevReporting, The Nation, and Policy Digest.

Her journalism journey began at the University of Ibadan, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of her departmental press organization, a leadership experience that strengthened her commitment to ethical journalism and public-interest storytelling. Afeez Olawale Rabiu is a Nigerian media development professional whose work spans digital media strategy, journalism, fact-checking, emerging technologies and research. He specialises in developing editorial and digital content systems that connect research, storytelling, audience engagement and technology.

Rabiu has worked across journalism, digital communications and marketing, including investigative reporting and research work focused on public-interest claims and misinformation in Nigeria. His experience also includes leading multidisciplinary digital teams comprising creators, designers, editors, digital media professionals and web developers.
