Abideen Opeyemi OLASUPO is a professional technology consultant and campaigner with a proven track record in the Development, Innovation and Strategy sector. He has taken courses at Both Harvard Business School and Lagos Business School in recent time on Entrepreneurship and Non-Profit Management. He is also recognized internationally for his contributions towards a sustainable world. He collaborated with others to place the Sustainable Development Goals Article on Wikipedia and it attracted so many page views that span over 100 countries in 6 continents. He is an alumnus of the Popular Africa Presidential Leadership Program, Egypt, one of the 10 Steering Committee members working with CIVICUS and Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, a Global Leader with Restless Development and alumnus of the Youth Power Panel in the United Kingdom, a One Young World Ambassador and One.org Champion (Alumnus).

Adisa Habeeb is a recent University of Ibadan graduate. He is a media aficionado, a researcher, a content writer, and a fashion designer. During his undergraduate studies at the University of Ibadan, he was active in Campus Journalism and held positions such as Editor of his local press group and Magazine Essay Editor for the Union of Campus Journalists. In 2021, he also finished the Global History Lab Course at Princeton University. He became interested in fact-checking as a result of his desire to hold authority accountable and refute misinformation and fake news.

With a strong background in development advocacy, project management, and data analysis, Habeeb has actively contributed to promoting democratic processes and strengthening governance systems. His expertise extends to conducting comprehensive data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas for improvement within election systems. Through his research, he has provided valuable insights and recommendations to inform policy decisions aimed at enhancing electoral integrity and promoting good governance practices.

A one time researcher at the Peoples Check (a fact-check platform), feature editor and reporter at the LASU ACJ ( a campus Journalism outfit), media space observer and journalism enthusiast. currently affiliated with Wikkitimes as an investigative reporter.

Adetutu Sobowale is a Nigerian journalist with three years of experience in mainstream practice. Her areas of interest include; Investigative reporting, Fact-checking, Feature writing, Data Journalism, and General reporting. Adetutu Sobowale is a reporter with Platform Times Newspaper and FactcheckElections. She is also currently a fellow of the first Cohort of the Cohort One of Reporting Violence Against, Women and Girls Training of the African Women in Media, AWiM, and a fellow of the third cohort of the ADH community Climate Journalism. She was a fellow of the first phase of the Inequality Reporting Fellowship of the ADCJ Sub-national Data Accountability Reporting Project.

Her work has appeared in publications like Platform Times media, FactcheckElections, African Women in Media, and News Upfront. I am also among the successful applicants of the AWiMs reporting on violence against women and girls program. She has been trained in fact-checking by the FactcheckElections, International Centre for Investigative Reporting (ICIR), and the Center for Journalism Innovation and Development(CJID). She has also been trained in Reporting land and environmental issues by Land Portal Foundation, solution journalism by African Women in Media, and Holistic security training by CJID

Oluwaseye Ogunsanya is an ardent lover of political happenings and current affairs, a social media savvy, an award-winning fact-checker, a public policy enthusiast, and an advocate for good governance. He’s a graduate of mass communication from the premier school of communication in Nigeria – Lagos State University School of Communication (now faculty of media and communication studies). He has an in-depth knowledge of Nigeria and Africa’s political landscape and possesses special abilities in reporting and researching political landscape and how they impact the lives of the common man. To have an audience that is adequately informed, he got passionately acquainted with fighting misinformation and holding authorities accountable.

A tech savvy and a researcher on the intersection between selected areas of Islamic Law such as; Islamic Finance, Jurisprudence of Transaction in the modern age, Islamic Taxation and the emerging technologies. Outside the legal sphere, he writes contents for a number of brands both as a paid freelance and a volunteer. Sunday Timothy Taiwo is a Development Enthusiast cum Communications Specialist. He has over three years experience in Social Sector Development, particularly in the areas of youth mobilization for community development, governance and policy reform advocacy, and Education for Sustainable Development. He has proven track records of managing effective communication strategies, leading project activations and managing partnerships with critical stakeholders for different civic organizations in Nigeria.
He works in the role of Communications Intern at Paradigm Leadership Support Initiative (PLSI), a civic-tech organization. His passion for self-growth and commitment to media engagements inspired him to join the FactCheckElections team where he currently manages communications channels for the organization. His core skills include: project management, qualitative research, public speaking, leadership and social media management. Sunday holds a Bachelor of Education Degree in Educational Management/English Language.

Mustapha Lawal is a graduate of the University of Ilorin who is passionate about ensuring quality, inclusive and equitable education, good health and wellness enhancement, promoting peace, preventing injustice, and developing stronger and transparent institutions.

Being a member of the UCJ Unilorin all through his stay on campus, he developed an interest in journalism. And has a flair for using his academic and research expertise to contribute meaningfully toward his passion. He is currently a fact-checking personnel with FactCheckElections in a bid to hold both the government of the day and those in the position of authority accountable and also as an advocate against fake news in Nigeria.
