Forwarded messages and links have been circulating on WhatsApp claiming that Nigerian Afro Music star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido is Giving out free Ten gigabytes (10GB) of data and free three thousand naira (₦3,000) worth of airtime.

This comes after the incumbent governor of Osun State, Ademola Adelekem who is an uncle to the music star won the just concluded election and was re-elected as the governor of the state.

Adeleke polled a total number of 511,067 winning against his major opponents: Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressive Congress (APC) who had a total of 444,815 and the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate Najeem Salam who scored 17,180 votes.
